About Me
My name is Charlotte, and I support adults navigate life’s challenges. I offer short and long term therapy both online and face-to-face in the beautiful town of Thame.
Having worked in marketing in the charity and youth sector for many years, I was confronted by some life changing medical challenges. It was during this time that I had my first experience of counselling as it helped me process and get through a difficult time in my life.
Since then, I’ve embarked on training to become a counsellor myself, and have had the privilege of working with a range of clients around issues such as anxiety, depression, low mood, neuro-diversity and grief.
I am an integrative counsellor, which means I combine techniques from different therapeutic approaches. My practice is primarily informed by three main models: Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). I am accredited member of NCPS.
I like to offer my clients a warm and welcoming space, a genuine and trusting relationship, sprinkled with some gentle challenging and humour.
If you’d like to meet me, and see if I’m the right fit for you, you can book a free 30 minute consultation.
I also work with Circle Therapy in Tring, where I see young people (age 12-18) as well as adults. You can book an assessment with me at Circle here.
